Erica's Top Ten Needs

I had nothing better to write about and Ela is taking a nap. So, here are my top ten needs as determined by google:

1.
Erica needs to come home, and to work things out with their daughters.
2.
Erica needs to be in a much better place. And I'm going to make sure life will never hurt us again.
3.
Erica needs help.
4.
Erica needs to be able to feel proud of Todd and the work he does, his achievements, and accomplishments.
5.
Erica needs to be alone or with Malaria Guy Jeff.
6. Erica needs a reality check!

7.
Erica needs to dump Jack FOR GOOD.
8. Erica needs to stop pouting.

9.
Erica needs to learn how to spell my last name right!
10.
Erica needs to go.

Pictures

Pictures are so much fun. Especially when you have someone like Cara who does such a wonderful job and is so creative and flexible. I'm so pleased with her work that I want to advertise her on my xanga. Seriously, if you're in the Joplin area and need pictures, call Cara Pagan (you can get her number from me). She's so good at a great price. Here are a few examples of Ela's latest photo shoot:

Roadtrip!

This past weekend my mom, Ela and I went on a roadtrip to Iowa for a cousin's wedding. It was a lot of fun and Ela did surprising well on the 24-hour round trip car ride. Here are some pictures, because they say it better than words:

This is Ela in her car seat, ready for the long ride. She has been smiling and laughing more than ever, it's so sweet!

My tiny baby Ela is not so tiny anymore. Well, she's still really small, but she's growing really fast. She seems really big to me in comparison to when she was born. Here are a few recent pictures:

This is Ela's first real bath. Before that we had to give her sponge baths because we couldn't get her umblilical stump wet. She didn't like the sponge baths but she didn't complain about getting to play in the water.

This is Ela in her "Bumbo" chair. It helps babies learn to sit correctly once they can hold their head up. She only kind of holds her head up but she liked sitting in her chair for about two minutes. Isn't she precious?

It seems like she gets bigger every day. I hope she doesn't grow up too fast. The other day I made her promise me that she'd stick around for a while. She thought that would be ok.

She's Coming Home!

I just found out that we get to go stay with Ela in the hospital tonight and I'm pretty sure that means she gets to come home tomorrow if everything goes well. Thanks everyone for your prayers and encouragement. It's been a hard time, being away from my new little baby. But God is good and he is sovereign. Now I ask that you all join us in praise to our Father.
